FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Many questions arise precisely when an idea is about to become a concrete product.

What is the difference between a single-plant extract and a blended extract?

A single-plant extract is made from one botanical. A blended extract combines several botanicals already during the extraction process.

Which dosage forms are possible?

Blended extracts are generally manufactured and used as liquid extracts. They can be used directly in liquid dosage forms or incorporated into suitable systems.

What quantities are typically relevant?

In practice, projects often range from approximately 25 kg to several hundred kilograms.

How does an initial assessment work?

You briefly describe your planned combination and intended application. On this basis, we provide an initial technical assessment.

Do you also offer single-plant extracts?

Yes. In addition to blended extracts, our range includes numerous botanical single-plant extracts, tinctures and oil macerates.

Which DER ranges are possible?

Different DER ranges are possible depending on the botanical, solvent system and application. Standardised and customer-specific specifications can be agreed individually.

Are customised solvent systems also possible?

In addition to classic ethanol/water systems, glycerin-based and oil-based extraction systems are also possible.

Which botanical raw materials do you process?

Our raw-material spectrum includes herbs, leaves, roots, barks, fruits, seeds, fungi, resins and aromatic botanical drugs.
